  • The standard is released under a Creative Commons Non-Commercial No Derivatives (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) Licence. 

    This allows badge creators and issuers to create their own badges at no cost, provided they give proper attribution. 

    You can use the badges you create with the framework  for profit  purposes, such as recognising paid services like certification, training or credentials. 

    Exemptions are available for commercial use of the framework for uses such as integration into platforms, consultancy offers or quality assurance services. Please contact us for more information.

    No derivatives are allowed, as the Framework is jointly governed and undergoes an annual review to ensure consistency and integrity. This prohibition on derivatives is essential to maintain the standard's uniform application and uphold its quality.
